Longacre 52-46745 – Waterproof stepper motor 2-5/8″ 100-340 deg. oil temp gauge with built in warning light with 2 set points. Completely waterproof no need to remove to wash car. Stepper motor gauges are the latest technology in gauges. These gauges use a small electric motor to drive the pointer. It is more precise than the more common air core gauges whose accuracy can be affected by the winding. This technology allows for improved accuracy and response. Gauges have a molded ABS case, thru-the-dial LED back lights and an illuminated pointer. Gauges go through a self test presentation at turn on; pointers swing full circle and all LED’s come on. Built in warning lights have adjustable set points to get your attention. The first setting will cause the warning lights to glow – the second setting will cause the light to flash. The oil pressure gauge back light changes color and the back light starts to flash too.
